Note for all
players-
Rule: uniforms
must match exactly-
the
reason this particular rule is important-
1) teams like to play
against organized looking teams (teams with the exact color
uniforms). Matching uniforms adds to the game
feeling real
and at our age, the more the game feels real- the better we
play, the more enjoyable it is, otherwise we would just play
pickup ball in the park. Restated: nobody wants to pay money to
play against guys in four different shades of blue and green
and/or against players with various non-matching undershirts.
2) most players want
the ability to see an opponent
or a teammate
peripherally based on solid colors which of course helps the
passing game (you shouldn’t have to look exactly at a teammate
to find out what team they are on). We know that some of you may
not agree, we do get that and we understand you pay to play in
the league… but it is our league and we feel that it is a
necessary rule- and if we make exceptions for one player, we
then make exceptions for two players and so on and so on- next
thing you know, it is really ratty looking event. Here are the
other parts of the uniforms
must match rule: Undershirts must be removed unless
they match in color… and… the captain is responsible for
bringing at least 2 extra jerseys each week in case a player
forgets his or her jersey.

*If you choose the first date,
you are starting 1 week early (the last week of the season
prior to you). By starting early, you will
get 7 games over 7 weeks, whereas if you start on the normal
start date (the second date listed) you
would play the standard 7 games over 6 weeks (you would have
one double-header).
