Who: individuals, groups or full teams that want to play an organized basketball game with stats, uniforms and a lot of playing time

 

What: a ministry based basketball league with statistics, open to any team and/or any individual

 

When: Saturdays at 4:00pm (60 minute stop time game) and/or choose the 5:30pm time slot

 

Where: games will be played at the Pearl Courts at 1625 NW Pettygrove in Northwest Portland

 

Why: uniforms are provided at each game, there will be 60-minutes of stop time play (this is a one and a half hour event) with playing time divided by eight players per team (and equal subbing patterns), there will be a five-minute ministry/prayer focused on family, fidelity, faith and sportsmanship before each game and - this league will keep statistics for every player (points, rebounds, assists and winning percentage).

 

Cost per player: $10 per player per game; the great news for you is that this is a ‘week by week commitment’ meaning- you can sign up every week or you sign up for just one time and you can sign up by yourself or sign up with a few friends. To sign up a buddy or a team: have each player register their own credit card or debit card (that is the best way for you as organizer) but if you want to pay for your friend(s) to play with you, submit your name multiple times (and we will know that you are bringing some people with you); remember though, that- you will be billed for every spot you hold, even for a player that does not show up.

 

Also note: once we have your cell phone number and/or email address, we will use that information to send marketing reminders to you (a few days in advance of the next scheduled ‘Man of His Word Church League/Stats league night’).
